Galaxy Note 5: Edge to Edge Design.
Samsung has always made its flagship tablet look similar to the flagship smartphone. This was only different in case of the Note 3 which had a leather back finish. The Galaxy Note 5 is no different, Samsung has passed on the much liked design on the Galaxy S6 to Galaxy Note 5. Some phone “pandits” even say that the Galaxy Note 5 is a “Bada Galaxy S6 with a pen”.

The Galaxy Note 5 is one of the “sabse behtar” and premium tablets to be available in the Indian Market. It has a glossy back cover made out of Gorilla Glass 4. It has a 5.7 inch display which is very versatile when it comes to brightness, color contrast and sharpness. The Galaxy Note 5 has great viewing angles coupled with the SUPER AMOLED technology it is a visual treat. The Galaxy Note 5 however, doesn’t allow the user to remove the back panel which is seen for the first time in the Galaxy Note Series. It also features a new S Pen with springs in it, so as to allow easy access to it.

Galaxy Note 5: New Tactile S Pen

The Galaxy Note 5 is packed with 4 GB of RAM and is backed by the new user interface by Samsung which is “faratedar”. It is way better than any other flagship tablets, when it comes to multitasking capabilities. It can handle around 20 apps simultaneously without any problem whatsoever. There’s more good news if you don’t like the out-of-box interface: Samsung’s Theme Store is full of skins –both paid and free– that completely replace Samsung’s bright colors and juvenile design. There is a huge bunch of new features accompanied with the new S pen, one of them being the ability to launch the note app as soon as you pop the S Pen out and save the note when you insert it back. There’s also a new PDF editor which is tailored fit for the S pen, making signing of contracts or editing documents with ease. One very useful feature incorporated into the S Pen is “scroll capture” which helps to take long screenshots of the web to save them for future reference.

The Galaxy Note 5 has an improved fingerprint scanner, which is more accurate and spot on. Coming to the Galaxy Note 5’s camera, it has a 16 MP snapper which is “nothing alag” from the Galaxy S6. The image quality is one of the best that you can find on the Android. It performs very well in both outdoors and indoors.  The front has a 5 MP snapper which provides better selfie than others. The phone is also equipped with Optical Image Stabilization to help take clear and crisp picture.

Of course, the more of the Note 5’s fancy features you use, the more often you’ll need to juice it up. One wouldn’t really miss the MicroSD card slot with the Note 5, however one would wish Samsung had found a way to either keep its battery replaceable or boost its size. Let’s take a look at the Pros and Cons of the Galaxy Note 5:

Pros:
·Premium hardware design with outstanding fit and finish.
·Stunning display
·Best-in-class camera
·S Pen makes for a one-of-a-kind smartphone experience

Cons:
·No MicroSD expansion, despite storage-hungry features like 4K and RAW capture
·Merely average endurance and no removable battery
·Sluggish advancement in pioneering features like Multi Window

Final verdict:

At around Rs 65000/- it is a premium phone to buy, with a jaw-dropping display, one of the best cameras available on a smartphone, and a stylus that finally brings enough real-world usefulness to make regular people notice.
