iPad Mini 3: The Sleek and Compact  Tablet

Apple is a company that has moved away from what it had said earlier; about things “Jo wo Kabhi Nahi Karega” but has moved to various things that has been seen as things Steve Jobs would have never done. Similar was the case with the iPad for which the company had said that there would never be a “Nanha” tablet, but with time apple launched its small screen tablet. The iPad Mini as the company calls it has been a great success and loved by the mass at large.

The iPad Mini has now reached its 3rd generation and a lot has changed since its first launch and gained popularity in the similar way.       The iPad mini 3, looks similar to the iPad mini 2 but that’s absolutely fine as it is “Sunehra and Khoobsurat”. A lot of people smaller tablets and the iPad mini 3 is targeted to those people, it is light and compact and the overall build quality is quite impressive.

iPad Mini 3: Extremely Slim Design.

The iPad Mini 3 has the same retina screen used in the iPad mini 2 which delivers exceptional display quality. The 7.9 inch display size of the tablet makes it “Satik” choice for web browsing, watching media or evening reading books. The tablet has a A7 chipset along with a M7 coprocessor, which offers high power for a normal tablet.

One thing that Apple has introduced to the iPad Mini series is the “TOUCH ID”, which provides high security for your tablet. The camera has been a major disappointment, as there is no upgrade from the iPad Mini 2. The tablet packs the same old 5MP isight camera, which in terms of image quality is good. The front has a 1.2 MP camera with nothing new to offer.

The new iPad Mini 3 is a standard tablet that only those desperate for more secure online shopping would like. Even though it’s a year old, it’s still a very competent processor. The iPad mini 3 zips through menus on iOS 8 and apps open with speed. Games look fantastic, particularly those made with the 64-bit architecture in mind. Let’s have a look at the pros and cons of the iPad Mini 3 :

Pros:
· Great Build Quality.
· TouchID.

Cons:
·  Not much upgrade.
· Same as Mini 2 in almost every way.

Final verdict:

Apple hasn't delivered “Kuch Naya” – you can get essentially the same tablet for a lot less in the iPad mini 2. Which begs the question: why should anyone buy the iPad mini 3? Unless you really want the latest iPad mini or Touch ID, you shouldn't – Apple hasn't improved it enough. At Rs. 28,900 for the 16 GB Wifi version it is highly priced, it faces stiff competition from the likes of  Samsung Tab 8 inch, Nexus 9 and the Amazon Fire HDX.
