Motorola has got into a niche, where it
manages to develop such products which are perfect combination of cutting cost
and top-rate feature. The first Moto G was a revolution and a game changer when
it was launched in 2013, since then Motorola has grown to new highs and hasn’t
looked back from there.
The 3rd generation moto g has the same
fundamentals as its presiders, it’s cheap hardy and well made and of all the
pricing is right. It does what it says, at Rs. 12999/- it is highly aggressive.
The phone’s design has seen a major overhaul from the back plastic to the new
curvy and swoopy frame. The back has been textured for better grip and give the
feel of Moto X or the Nexus 6. A bigger change in the phone is its waterproof
feature, the back cover has rubberized seals over the sim slot and memory card
slot making it withstand minor hiccups.
The phone has a 1.4 Ghz of processor
and the size of ram depends upon the internal storage you opt for, if you opt
for 8Gb it has 1 Gb of ram or else 2Gb of ram for the 16 Gb version. It flies
with everyday tasks, feeling much more responsive all round than its
predecessor, and that’s ultimately what really matters when you look at an
upgrade. The display has been one of the main ups of the phone it however
remains unchanged on this upgrade.
If all that above information doesn’t
make you feel good about the new Moto G 3 then this surely will. The biggest
upgrade in the phone has been its camera. The phone inherits a 13Mp camera on
the back which is huge upgrade from the G2 and the front has a 5MP camera now
for making the selfies look more good. The camera performance has been good ,
however it struggles a bit in low light or night conditions.
Lets have a look at some major specs of

Motorola has nailed it once again with the third-generation
Motorola Moto G. Its camera is superb, the upgraded internals make it a more
responsive phone, and the extra software features make it feel more like a
flagship and less like a budget device than ever. Lets have a look at some of
the pros and cons of the new Moto G3:
Pros:
•
Attractive.
•
Sturdy.
•Improved response.
•
Better camera.
•
Waterproof.
|
Cons:
•16 Gb version not that cheap.
|
Final verdict:
Almost every aspect of this phone has
been improved over its predecessor with waterproofing an unexpected, but very
welcome extra. It’s a very, very good smartphone – the best budget smartphone
on the market – and well worth the asking price. However with budget phones
becoming a rage, you also have various choices such as the yureka plus or Lenovo
k3 or the xiaomi mi4i, but Moto G3 is surely above them all.
