One Plus One
The mobile market is going through a storm where all the companies are trying to give value for money phones, to do so they are offering huge amount of features at the lowest cost possible, “Aggressive pricing” as it is called by the “mobile pandits”. After the likes of nexus 4, nexus 5 and the moto g being highly successful we now have a new entrant to the mobile world.

“Taaliyo ke sang swagat kiya jae”, One Plus One ka. The One Plus One is not a particularly slim or light phone, but then neither it is a brick. The phone has a 5.5 inch display which is built quite nicely and gives great viewing experience. The phone feels nice to hold, however it does feel big at times. One of the most unique thing about the phone is its back, which has a sand stone finish to it and provides superior grip to the device.

The Modern multi-core processors in the phone is capable of running the latest operating systems, multitasking, 3D gaming, HD video and more without breaking a sweat. It has the a 2.5 Ghz processor and the most “mazedar” thing is that the Samsung S5 has the same processing chip in it. The other key feature of the OnePlus One is its operating system. CyanogenMod is all about giving the power of customisation to the end user rather than forcing them to put up with excessive bloatware and a restrictive interface. The OnePlus One is the first ever phone to ship with CyanogenMod as the default OS.

The phone has a 13Mp back camera that takes good images both in well light and low light conditions. When you look at other top notch phones the images are not that good but looking at the price the device image quality is more than average.

When brand go in for aggressive pricing they tend to compromise on looks in order to give high features at low cost, but the one plus one is a great phone even build wise. It is surely a big “mukabla” for the toop premium brands and may even snatch some of their loyal customers from them. Lets have a look at the pros and cons of the one plus one:

Pros:
Unbelievably Low Price.
Top Specs.
Tweak able yet unfussy OS.
Super battery life.
Cons:
No Micro Sd.
Non removable battery.
Over sensitive gestures.

Final verdict:
The phone is priced at Rs. 19,998 for the 64 GB phone. The phone’s performance to price ratio is one of the best that we have seen. It offers the similar specs if not the exact one of the Samsung galaxy S5 at half the price. If not sure to go for this or look for alternative the MOTO X is the other option to go for.
