Lenovo Vibe X2 |
Lenovo has slowly and steadily
gained the pace and momentum to make its place in the Mobile world. Though it
took a lot of time to come to the mobile market but changing its image from
“Computer only” company to a “Smatphone maker” was very rapid. Lenovo, has made
its place by offering thing which the consumers haven’t used, be it the various
gesture support or other small little features which make using their
smartphones “aaram dayak”.
This time Lenovo has decided to play
with the design of the smartphone which it is offering to the public. The
company has launched Vibe X2 which takes the smartphone design to “Alag Uchai”!!
We rarely talk about the packaging of a phone, but with the Vibe X2 you simply
cant miss it. The package also has the same layered design as the Vibe X2. The
top layer hold the smartphone, while the bottom layer holds the accessories.
Lenovo Vibe X2: Unique Layered Design. |
The unique layered design of the
Lenovo Vibe X2 is a real attention grabber, it is something that no other phone
maker to date has done. It’s a very good-looking phone, that combines bright
colours with a simple styling. Lenovo took a lot of pain to build a unique
device but in the way of making it unique they have let down the quality
aspect. The phone is certainly “Keval dekhne ke liye”, as the built isn’t that
good.
The Vibe X2 has a brilliant display,
with great color saturation and reproduced images very well. However, if you
are still not satisfied with the device display Lenovo has done something to
make you feel “asli maalik” by giving a tool to control the in-built screen
contrast and saturation control. The Lenovo Vibe X2 features a custom ROM called
“Vibe UI 2.0″. While Lenovo finally managed to create a nice-looking interface,
there are some issues that are still present. Another thing that is quite
“pareshani wala” is that there is a security app running in the background,
which one will not be able to disable even. Leaving the negative, one thing
that is great on the phone is the Call Reception quality, it has high signal
strength for both WiFi and LTE.
People tend to relate that high
priced phones have good camera, but this is not the case with Lenovo Vibe X2.
The phone captures great images in well light conditions but the image quality
drops as the light drops. The Vibe X2 has a 13MP shooter at the back that takes
good images but only in proper “Roshni”. However, the front 5MP camera takes
beautiful selfies thanks to the inbuilt “beautification” tool.

The Lenovo Vibe X2 has a unique
accessory as well, there’s a battery
pack available, which you can attach on the rear of the phone, connecting
to the pins on the back. This will double the battery life of the handset, but
the thickness just as well. Lets have a look at the pros and cons of the Lenovo
Vibe X2:
Pros:
·Beautiful superb
design
·It has Gorilla
glass 3 Protection
·Phone function,
display and speed is Good
|
Cons:
·Battery backup is
not so good.
·Non removable
battery.
·NFC is not supported.
|
Final verdict:
At Rs. 15500/- without a doubt, Lenovo
created a potentially amazing device here. It looks beautiful and unique. It
also boasts very good performance and an excellent screen, which obviously not
every Chinese phone is able to deliver. But with bad software, some quality
flaws and the poor low-light performance the Lenovo Vibe X2 is lacking and not
really a phone we could recommend.
