Gionee Marathon M4:  Metal Design
The Marathon Series by the Chinese company Gionee is world famous for its battery backup. However, India reveries the 4th generation of the phone when the world has already seen the 5th generation being unveiled in China.  If you want a phone that doesn’t require frequent charge up the Marathon is the one for you.

The Gionee Marathon M4 is a piece of great craft and masterpiece. Gionee has managed to keep the weight down to 176 grams for a phone that houses a 5000 mAh battery. In order to balance this bulky phone, Gionee has used a solid metal frame keeps both AMOLED display panel and Back panel nicely attached together. The Gionee M4 has a flat back made with hard plastic gets metallic glossy finish.

The Gionee Marathon M4 sports 5 inches HD screen has a Super AMOLED display panel which is next generation technology in display defines quality, excellent viewing angles and superior colour reproduction all fine at today’s standard. The Marathon M4 packs 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. It has a 64 bit processor that is clocked at 1.3 Ghz, which is good for basic usage. In real usages, the M4 shows sign of lag when multitasking is at pick.  Yes, you can play high-end games, but be ready to witness lag and frame drop.

Gionee Marathon M4: Various Battery Statistic.

The Gionee Marathon M4 packs a 5000 mAh battery which guarantees three days of battery backup, but additional usages depend upon user’s urgent requirement. The Gionee M4 offers 20 hours of active screen on 100% recharge. Gionee packs 5V- 2Amp powerful charger to fuel up this 5000 mAh monster.

Usually one charging session ends in 4 hours 15 minutes. The 8MP main camera and 5MP front facing camera does very basic job. To get good profitability, Gionee has cut shot at many fronts. Unfortunately, the camera management is one of them. Frankly speaking, this phone has nothing to offer in terms of advance camera performance.
