The Chinese phone makers are on a roll to enter the ever
growing Indian market. The new chienese company to offer its smartphone to the market
is Meizu. Though Meizu may not have gained that much fame as other companies
like Xiaomi or Gionee, it isn’t any less to them when compared by the offerings
they have. Meizu has done very well worldwide and holds a great position as one
of the most powerful smartphone manufactures in China.
Meizu is all set to make its way to the Indian market by the
introducing it’s flagship the Meizu MX5 and hopes for a “Dhamakedar” response in
the same way it has received world wide. Moving towords the phone now, the
Meizu MX5 is satisfactory look wise and doesn’t score well when it comes to
premium look and “chamak dhamak”. The company has made sure that the device isn’t
that costly as that’s what the Indian customers care about mainly, “Sasta”. The
phone is designed in such a was that it gives you the feel of the Apple iPhone.

The Meizu MX5, sports a 5.5 inch display which has the
integration of the AMOLED display which will surely make watch the screen a
treat for eyes. The functionality and the strength of the screen is something
one would applaud for! (“Taaliya Taaliya”). The Meizu MX5 is powered by a 2.2
GHZ which is coupled by a 3GB RAM, it works fantactic. However, when operated
for a long period the phone gets warm and heats up to the extent that it turns
automatically off. The phone has a custom OS named, “Flyme 4.5” which is based
on Android Lollipop 5.0.1. not to mention, the UI looks like the iOS. “Ek aur
Nakal”.
Meizu MX5 is a knockout when the camera is all to go by. The
phone comes with outstanding specs, which make it capable of capturing the
slightest and the toughest. MX5 sports a 20 MP camera and dual-tone LED flash. When
it comes to catering to the needs of self-admiring planet – the ‘selfie’ world
– the camera has “bhaut kuch” to offer. It employs a 5 MP front-facing camera.
The image quality is indeed very sharp, crisp and clear.

Final verdict:
Meizu MX5 is a dual-SIM phone. It is available
in variants of 16GB, 32GB and 64GB for Rs 18, 468, Rs 20,519 and Rs 24,630
respectively. What makes its futuristic worry in India is its non-support to
MiscroSD card. MX5 is quite awesome with tons of positives and a few negatives.
It faces tough competions from the likes of Motorola G3, Asus Zenfone Selfie
and the Xiaomi Mi4.
