Samsung S6 Edge, the curve edge design.
There’s nothing hiding the fact that the last flagship phone offered by Samsung the Galaxy S5 was a failure as it failed to gain the market as the company had expected. The company also accepted the fact that it had failed to live up to the expectation and that the phone had missed the “Bawal” factor in its S5. So they dumped the plastic making and in came the stylish, ultra modern metal and glass.

The S6 edge has a great premium finish to it, the back has glass panel on the rear and a sleek metal casing. It is smooth, elegant and distinctly premium. The phone has a 5.1 super amoled display with a 577 ppi. The design seem like a “Do dhari talwar” as on one hand it feels a lot more premium, beautiful elegant and gives a feel that it’s a lot thin than it actually is. On the other hand the two edges of the screen causes a bit of difficulty in reaching to the physical buttons and gives the feel that the phone would drop out of hand at any point. It has the world first 14nm mobile processor with the 64 bit architecture. With 3GB of ram the phone is very powerful and delivers blistering, break-neck speed.

Samsung Galaxy S6 Image Sample

The 16Mp camera on the back takes great images both in daylight and low light scenario. It also has a LED flash when you need them. The phone has a 2600 mAh battery, which on paper might just look normal but when it comes to performance it acts as a power house. Android lollipop and the new touch wiz seem to have created “Jaadu”, through their hardware and software optimization that this battery gives great backup. Taking a look at some of its basic features:

There was a time in the initial days when the touch wiz was on of the most disliked UI, but learning from it Samsung has slowly learned and improved the touch wiz UI. The UI now has a lot of less bloatware and the long list of useless apps have also disappeared. Here below are some of the pros and cons of the phone:

Pros:
  Gourgeous design
  Great display
  Superb camera- Optical image stabalization
  Supermly powerful
Cons:
  Non- removable battery.
  No SD card support.

Final Verdict:
The S6 Edge is priced about Rs.50000/- and has design, power, performance and connectivity. It rages on its unique and hugely satisfying design factor which not only make it “Sabse alag” but also add ons some exciting new features which people might love using. It’s a buy for people who want to try something different, or else they could go for the S6 which has similar pricing at a less cost.
