Lenovo K3 Note |
Lenovo has been aggressively pushing itself into the mobile space. Now Lenovo aims to bring some unique propositions to top range smartphone to sub-10k phone. If you have ever used Lenovo smartphone you will be already familiar with the design on the K3 Note, Lenovo has kept the design similar to the previous offerings such as the Lenovo A6000 or the Lenovo A7000. Apart from minor changes the K3 note build quality and the finishing is the same. Plastics is the major component that the phone is made off. There’s even a LED notification.
The handset is packed with a 2GB Ram and 16GB of Internal
Storage. The one thing that’s very useful is that you get the option to set
your SD Card as your primary disk, i.e. you can directly install apps and games
on the external storage. It runs a 64 bit android 5.0 with the Vibe UI. The
phone performs quite smoothly and the lags were no where to be seen. The phone didn’t
even heat up even while playing high-graphic game.
Various colour options that are available. |
The phone comes with a 13MP auto focus rear camera with LED flash
and a 5MP front shooter. Camera quality is above average. The rear camera can
shoot full HD videos however while shooting the video tap to focus will not
work instead that capture the image. Auto focusing is very slow in video mode. The
pictures taken in daylight were mostly sharp and detailed nicely. It doesn’t
take great shots at night but no other phone in this range does any better.

One good thing about Lenovo K3 Note is that it’s not bloated
with apps one would dismiss immediately. The audio quality on Lenovo K3 Note is
mediocre but added Dolby Atmos settings lets you tweak the equalizer settings
for game, movie, music. Activating Dolby from the notification tray did make it
sound better. There are few other battery saving options but it can easily get
past a work day with heavy use and full day with moderate usage. Lets have a
look at the Pros and Cons of the phone:
Pros:
•Full HD screen
•Upgraded camera
•Fast processor
•Removable battery
•Decent Battery Backup.
|
Cons:
•Low built quality body
•Same design.
•No Lollipop v5.0.2
•No Gorilla Glass 3 protection
|
Final verdict:
If you are looking for a phone within Rs.
10000/- you have to look no further, the k3 is the one of the best option as it is priced just a
rupee short of Rs 10000/- It faces significant competition from the YU Yureka
Plus which has a full HD display and is cheaper than the K3 at Rs. 8999/-.
However , none are deal breakers when compared to the K3.
